Harry Lorton Harry Lorton, Chairman of the Board
Harry Lorton, B.B.S., M.A., F.C.C.A., has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2002 and has been Chairman since 2003. Mr. Lorton worked in the Banking industry for 33 years, 12 of which were spent as C.E.O. of Cork & Limerick Savings Bank, TSB Bank and Permanent TSB. He is a Non-Executive Director of Royal Liver Assurance Limited, Liverpool, UK and is also Chairman and/or Director of a number of private Irish companies involved in Leisure, Marketing & PR, and Property Development. He has served as President both of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Ireland, and was a member of the Board and the Council of the Irish Management Institute. He holds a degree in Business Studies from Trinity College, Dublin and is a graduate of the Owner/President Program of  Harvard Business School.


Michael Jarjour, Chief Executive Officer Michael Jarjour
Michael Jarjour was appointed as KineMatik's CEO in December 2008. Prior to joining KineMatik, he was Vice President of Global Marketing for Organon, where he was responsible for leading the $1.5 billion gynecology and urology franchise. Previously, Mr. Jarjour held key positions at top tier pharmaceutical institutions including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pharmacia, Warner Lambert and Wyeth. In addition, Mr. Jarjour has extensive healthcare technology experience having been a COO & co-founder of a healthcare technology enterprise which developed a wireless and Internet prescribing solution from concept to multiple-award winning, best-in-industry platform. Mr. Jarjour holds a BS in Finance from Florida International University and an MBA from the Rutgers Business School.



Niall Welch Niall Welch, Director
Niall Welch is the Founder and Senior Partner of Welch & Co, Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants. Prior to that he was a Partner in Deloitte & Touche for nineteen years. While with Deloitte & Touche he acted as International Liaison Partner with responsibility for all US multinational clients investing in Ireland. This involved working closely with IDA Ireland, the industrial development agency of the Irish Government, which has had enormous success in attracting foreign industries to Ireland. He is currently Vice Chairman of Blarney Woollen Mills Group and holds various other board memberships. In the past he has been a member of the board of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA Ireland) and has been Chairman / Board member of a number of other Public or State Sponsored companies. His major strength is in strategic planning including merger/acquisitions, joint venture and MBOs. He has particular experience of developing the correct financial structure for projects and in conducting negotiations with financial institutions for project finance. Mr. Welch has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.


David Dunn David Dunn, Director
David Dunn has over thirty years of diverse experience in the diagnostics industry with management responsibilities at the Vice Presidential level in Clinical Laboratory testing; Research & Development; Quality Control; Quality Assurance; FDA & ISO Quality Systems Regulatory compliance; Corporate Regulatory compliance for DEA, EPA, OSHA, NRC and USDA; FDA product clearances and approvals including 510(k)s, INDs, PMAs and BLAs; International product registrations including CE Marks, Canadian registrations, Australian registrations, Brazilian registrations and Japanese registrations; Clinical Affairs; Medical Services; Customer Services; Instrument Repair Services; and Manufacturing. David Dunn started his career at BioDynamics, then Boehringer Mannheim. He has spent the last 13 years at Gen-Probe and Celera Diagnostics, companies focused on developing and marketing newly discovered genetic markers and amplified technology businesses. He was directly responsible for FDA approval of the first amplified nucleic acid test (NAT) for Tuberculosis as well as the first FDA approved NAT blood screening assay for HIV and HCV. Mr. Dunn received his Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Biology and Chemistry and is now serving as an individual consultant to the diagnostics industry.

 

Ruben Jose King-Shaw Jr, Director David Dunn
Ruben Jose King-Shaw Jr. is a recognized leader in healthcare. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Mansa Equity Partners, Inc., a private equity investment and advisory firm specializing in healthcare services and healthcare technology companies. His duties at Mansa include serving as interim CEO of All-Med Services of Florida, Inc. and its Puerto Rican affiliate: Clinical Medical Services, Inc. Previously, Mr. King-Shaw served as a senior advisor to President George W. Bush, Health and Human Secretary Tommy Thompson and Treasury Secretary John W. Snow on health care policy issues. Mr. King-Shaw was also the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at the US Department of Health and Human Services – a position to which he was appointed by President George W. Bush and Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson. Prior to his federal government tenure, Mr. King-Shaw was the Secretary of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, and held various positions in the private health care services industry, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of NHP, Inc. of Miami , Florida . NHP is now a unit of United Healthcare, Inc. Mr. King-Shaw remains active in academic and public service as well, serving as Vice Chairman of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees, Vice Chairman of Greater Boston's Caritas Health System and the Dean's Council at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He received his Bachelors of Science degree studying Labor Economics at Cornell University 's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He also holds a Master of Health Services Administration and a Master of International Business from Florida International University and the Center for International Studies in Madrid , Spain .
