KineMatik has several
years of experience in implementing large-scale deployments of eNovator all
over the world. This experience has been translated into an efficient and
effective implementation process that ensures a high quality implementation
every time. This implementation can take the form of an eNovator solution
tailored to the individual requirements of a particular client or a completely
customized system, built from the ground up by our internal software
development teams.
Project Management
Clear and consistent communication between everyone involved in a project is key. KineMatik have developed project management methodologies to ensure that progress is monitored, controlled and reported in a transparent manner. The KineMatik
project manager reports to the client not only the detailed progress on planned
activities but also on adoption and compliance issues raised during the
implementation process. This helps to ensure that there are no surprises for
the client and any issues that do arise are dealt with quickly and effectively.

Custom Development
During the requirements
analysis phase, key requirements may have been uncovered which mean that custom
development has to be undertaken. KineMatik has a specialist team of software
developers who work hand-in-hand with the consultants to ensure that custom
features are delivered on time and on budget. Our development teams work to the
highest quality standards, and custom development can take place on or off
site. KineMatik’s software developers are skilled in producing and supporting
systems that are designed to be 21CFR Part 11 compliant.
Data/System Integration
Heterogeneous sources of information and
data present a tremendous challenge for equipment, data and software
integration. KineMatik’s approach
to the problem of data integration concentrates on the following key requirements:
- The ability to access the original
data sources
- The need for the data capture to be
structured
- Terminology which is used should
conform to industry standards such as XML
- The integrated data should be
accessed as a single logical repository
- Metadata should be used to traverse
domains
eNovator utilizes eNovator Markup Language
(ENML), KineMatik’s proprietary XML
schema, for data integration. This XML
schema incorporates the eNovator framework that has been successfully used for
integrations with various research data sources. eNovator also leverages the
Life Science Integration (LSI) solution from ORB-IS Information Systems to integrate with lab equipment and CDS. As one of KineMatik’s premier technology partners, ORB-IS
Information Systems is a leading Systems Integrator providing
enterprise-enabled manufacturing and research solutions. KineMatik’s own
integration specialists can also use eNovator’s Applied Programmers Interface
(API) to integrate with existing software systems, enabling the free flow of
information back and forward between eNovator and third party software
solutions.
