Stage Gate Management
eNovator’s PPM provides an organization with a Stage Gate Approach to managing their Product Development Lifecycles. This visual representation of the stage gate process allows the organization to quickly and easily see the status of the project along with key information. The stage gate system contains all of the stages, tasks, milestones and metadata associated with the project.

Automation of the Stage Gate Process
One of the key differences between eNovator’s PPM and other solutions is that the entire stage gate process is automated. All tasks are assigned to project team members and when it is necessary for those tasks to be completed then the relevant members are notified through their configurable personal dashboard and / or via e-mail notification. As tasks are completed then the project is updated automatically, thereby ensuring that a “Real-Time” view of the project is always available.
Automated Stage Gate Approval Process
In the same way as tasks are automated in the solution, so too are the Stage Gates. When all tasks in a phase are completed then the necessary Gate Keepers and / or Approvers are notified that the stage needs to be assessed. The stage gate allows certain members to update metrics so that gate keepers and / or approvers can make a decision whether a project should progress to the next stage or not.

Methodology Libraries for Stage Gate Processes
eNovator PPM has the capability to save stage gate processes as templates in a methodology library for later use. This allows organizations to standardise their approach to projects across the organization. The methodology library allows the grouping of template lifecycles according to product type, project type, departments etc.

 

Portfolio Management

Portfolio View - Insight and Control
eNovator’s PPM provides the organization with a configurable dashboard view of all of the programs on-going within the organization. This dashboard can be configured around key metrics that are required by management on an on-going or ad hoc basis. Most importantly, as the portfolio level is integrated to the project management level within eNovator’s PPM, the portfolio view always gives a “Real-Time” view.

Report Generation
eNovator’s PPM provides in-depth reporting capabilities in a “Real-Time” across key business metrics. These reports can be in graphical, tabular or bubble format as well as performing calculations on the metric data that is polled from the on-going projects. This allows organizations to report on the status of all their projects in the clients specific format.
Metrics Library
eNovator’s PPM contains a Metrics Library that allows for any business or scientific metric to be configured within the system. Metrics can include quantities, dates, schedules, free text, confidence levels, or calculations of multiple metrics based on expressions. These metrics are then captured at the project management level and reported to the portfolio level in a “Real-Time” fashion for critical project and business decision-making.

Resource Management and Utilization
eNovator’s PPM contains a comprehensive Resource Management and Utilization capability which allows organizations to track the demand, capacity, utilization, availability and shortfall of all team members. This high visibility allows for proper resource planning based on accurate “Real-Time” information.

Seamlessly integrated with OpenText Livelink ECM
eNovator’s PPM is seamlessly integrated with the Livelink ECM platform. Organizations that already have the Livelink platform can leverage this investment to add further functionality to increase their project and portfolio management capabilities. Organizations that have not made the investment in a Document Management System can get this as an added benefit and capability through the addition of eNovator’s PPM. eNovator’s PPM is designed to be fully 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and all data and information is versioned and audit controlled.
