Account Executive Vacancy

The successful Applicant will join a high-performing, social team and will be required to collaborate with peers to effectively attract and qualify prospects to evaluate the purchase of KineMatik solutions.

The Account Executive position is responsible for generating sales and revenue growth for KineMatik in the North American region. KineMatik is an OpenText Solution Extension Partner and OpenText is our leading sales channel. As an Account Executive you will be selling market leading solutions to existing and new OpenText Extended ECM and Content Suite customers.

Using a partner focused selling approach, you will dive deep into accounts and uncover challenges that are solved using KineMatik solutions. This position requires strong prospecting, communications, and closing skills to support and drive direct and indirect (via Partners) business.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to drive the sales process from start to finish directly with the prospective customer and partner representatives.

The successful Account Executive will be supported by KineMatik and partner colleagues.

This is a quota-carrying role for career–minded individuals with a global software organization. This is a full-time position with remote working based in North America.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Grow and develop the KineMatik pipeline and convert to sales
  • Leading, and more importantly, effectively collaborating with the internal KineMatik team and partner sales teams.
  • Work with KineMatik account development team to increase pipeline
  • Present to potential customers, prepare quotes and finalize contracts  
  • Account Management – working with customers in a partnership to understand their requirements and help solve their IT challenges. Explore other opportunities in existing customers.
  • Building and fostering new relationships with partner sales teams and customers.  
  • Re-engagement to understand any blockers, changes in the buying team or decision-making process, change in organizational priorities, as well as nurturing additional relationships to move the opportunity forward
  • Account Executives provide weekly progress & forecasting updates to their manager. All lead generation activity, progress & forecasting is tracked and managed within HubSpot
  • Account Executives qualify leads using the B2B BANT criteria: Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline
  • Other - At the request of the company

Role Requirements:

  • A successful track record of selling enterprise software for at least 3 years.
  • Experience working in a consultative capacity with C-level for Enterprise Content Management solutions.
  • Experience in accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Experience in Enterprise Content Management solutions, ideally OpenText Content Suite
  • Experience in Business Processes such as Document Change Control, CAPA, Audits is desirable
  • Good presentation skills and experience working with varied presentation tools
  • CRM experience and proficient in various MS Solutions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all sales communications and activities
  • Track record of being a high performer
  • Strong communication and time management skills. Adaptability in order to be set up for success remotely
  • A sharp focus on your goals and a strong approach for achieving them
  • The successful candidate needs to have focus on the commercials, i.e. revenue and profits levels
  • Based in North America
